On May 1, 2021, Spartan Protocol on BSC lost about $30.5M in what the record calls the chain's first flashloan attack. An attacker used a 100k WBNB flashloan to inflate a pool's balance, exploiting a check on current rather than cached balance to withdraw an unfair share.
