Is this crypto address sanctioned?
Check any crypto address against the 1,056 on the US Treasury’s OFAC sanctions list. Paste one or hundreds at once.
Paste one address or a whole list, separated by spaces, commas or new lines. Each is checked against the 1,056 crypto addresses on the US Treasury’s sanctions list, as of 5 November 2026, and the 939 addresses the FBI has published as holding funds from thefts it attributes to North Korea. The check runs in your browser: the addresses you paste are never sent to Bitminer.io or anyone else.

What a result means
- Listed means the address appears in an entry on the Specially Designated Nationals list. US persons are generally barred from dealing with the holder. The entry’s programme says why: North Korea, Russia, cyber crime, drugs, terrorism and others.
- Named by the FBI means an FBI notice lists the address as holding, or having held, stolen funds. Those addresses aren’t sanctioned, and none is on the OFAC list, but the FBI asks exchanges and other services to block transactions with them. The result quotes the notice and links to it.
- Not on the list only means OFAC hasn’t published that address. Sanctioned people and groups control many addresses that were never listed, and the prohibition covers them wherever their money sits.
- Removed means the address was on the list and later came off, such as Tornado Cash’s in March 2025. The date is OFAC’s removal notice for removals before November 2026, and otherwise when this ledger first saw the address missing, which has happened to 91 so far.
- Ethereum-style addresses (0x…) are matched without regard to letter case, as they are the same address either way. Other formats are matched exactly.
This is a quick reference, not legal advice or a compliance screening service. For a decision that matters, confirm the entry in OFAC’s own Sanctions List Search. Individuals are on the Treasury list but are shown here only as “Individual”. Every sanctioned address, by network · Download the sanctioned addresses or the FBI theft addresses
