OFAC lists six Tron addresses held by Canadian exchange houses in Iran action

OFAC lists six Tron addresses held by Canadian exchange houses in Iran action

So far in 2026, 319 crypto addresses have first appeared in US Treasury sanctions actions. That is already more than the 186 added in all of 2025, and well above the 174 listed by this date last year. The latest six came on 6 November, all on the Tron network, in an Iran-related action against eight Canadian money services businesses.

The Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), the Treasury unit that runs the sanctions list, titled the action "Operation Economic Outcast Sanctions Eight Canadian Money Services Businesses Enabling Iranian Regime". All eight were designated under Executive Order 13902, an Iran sanctions order. Each entry carries a warning of secondary sanctions risk under Section 2 of that order, meaning others who deal with the firms can be exposed to US sanctions.

Which firms hold the wallets

According to the sanctions list entries, the six addresses belong to four of the eight firms. 1380079 BC Ltd, also known as Amin Exchange Vancouver and Sarafi Amin, has three. Diverse Trade Inc (Million Exchange), CCC Inc (C Exchange, Sarafi Capital) and 2397639 Ontario Ltd (Farah Exchange) have one each. The other four firms were listed without crypto addresses: B Galaxy Inc, Darvish Exchange, Nia Nations Currency Ltd and Top PC Technician Inc.

Several of the firms overlap. B Galaxy and CCC Inc both use the Cryptoyal name and share an address at 6118 Yonge Street, Unit B, in North York. Top PC Technician trades as Amin Exchange Toronto, a name that matches the Vancouver firm holding three of the wallets, but its entry, which gives two premises in North York and Thornhill, carries no crypto wallet address. Most of the designated firms list premises on Yonge Street in the Toronto area. The rest are in Vancouver, North Vancouver and Montreal.

Every entry includes a Canadian money services business registration number, the number a firm holds to offer services such as currency exchange in Canada. By the founding dates on the list, Farah Exchange is the oldest, established in November 2013. The newest is 1380079 BC Ltd, established in September 2022.

With this action, the US sanctions list now carries 1,062 crypto wallet addresses.
